The Society for Social Intervention and Culture EKPOL of Thessaly and the Municipality of Larissa Mayoralty Environment N / Department for Waste Management and Recycling, in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly, European Information Center - Europe Direct Thessaly, Region Thessaly Regional Development Fund and the Greek Organization Recycling organize awareness event information to the public on the phasing out of plastic bags Thursday 25 May 2017 Larissa.

The event will begin at the building in DEYAL 10:00 morning with representatives greetings on behalf of the Region of Thessaly, the Municipality of Larissa, the EKPOL, European Information Center Europe Direct and the EMSA will continue with the speech of Mrs. Effie Tritopoulou Dr.. Then in 12:00 the action will be transferred to the Post Square, where papers and cloth bags will be distributed to raise awareness of citizens to minimize the use of disposable plastic bags and choose reusable bags.
