On the occasion of the continuation of the conference on the future of Europe, an answer is being explored to overcome the crisis that occurred during the pandemic, which should be the result of the participatory activity of the various social partners, of civil society and decision-making bodies of a particular state.
The search for an appropriate response to overcome the crisis that occurred during the pandemic should be the result of the participatory activity of the various social partners, of civil society and the decision-making bodies of the state.
The presentation "Citizenship: The Role of Youth, Democratic Participation, Participatory Budgeting & Procedures" is organized with the aim of starting a dialogue about the democratic participation of citizens in the electoral process but also in other structural processes of society, at local and national level. The participation of people from different social groups and with different roles will help us get an overall picture of the situation and conclude how it is affected in crisis conditions, like that of the pandemic.
The event is organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute, within the framework of the CERV and Erasmus+ programs of the European Union with the support of EUROPE DIRECT Thessaly.
The material developed will be presented as part of the event
from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute ,
through the European programs it implements, to inform and engage trainers and youth workers, to get more targeted information on the participatory approach as well as the platform through which young people will be able to implement participatory budgeting methodology through electronic means. The platform will enable the active participation of young people by submitting their ideas and joining groups to train and develop their ideas as a project, through participatory budgeting.
