"The Territories of Thessaly 2 years after the Floods:
Consequences – Measures – Perspectives”.
The aim of the event is to present the scientific findings, the effects of its floods 2023 in the lands of Thessaly, as well as policies and perspectives for the rehabilitation and sustainable development of rural areas. With the participation of expert scientists and agencies, critical aspects concerning soil health will be highlighted, the cultivation practices, as well as the role of the new Common Agricultural Policy.
H event is organized under the EU priority: “Maintaining our quality of life – food security, water and nature"
The conference will take place on Monday 24 November 2025, to 10.30 a.m., in the Institute of Industrial and Livestock Plants of ELGO Dimitra Larissa.
