"This time I vote! The importance of the European elections 2019 "

The Region of Thessaly, The Special Management Service of the Region of Thessaly, Regional Thessaly Region Development Fund in respect of the actions of the European Information Center Europe Direct Thessaly Region organized an event in Trikala 21 December entitled "This time I vote! The importance of the European elections 2019 ".

This event is part of a series of events to be held in each capital of Thessaly in order to inform the Thessalians citizens about the importance of the European elections. The first information event held in Trikala 21 December at city hotel. The event was coordinated by Mr.. Sotiris Polyzos while guests who greeted the Thessaly Region Mr.. Agorastos Costas was Mr.. Kyrtzos George (New Democracy MEP), Ms. Sofia Sakorafa (independent MEP) and Mrs. Eva Kaili who participated via Skype (Olive MEP – democratic Marshalling). MEPs, institutional entities and citizens discussed the future of Europe in view of the European elections 2019. Theme of the event was the path to the European elections and what challenges facing the European Union. Greeting at the event was addressed by the Deputy Head Trikala Mr.. Michael Christos and Deputy Head of Culture, Travel and lifelong learning n. John Boutinas. The hall was crowded, MEPs received a number of questions by citizens which rewards the importance of these events. Furthermore, everyone had the opportunity to participate in an interactive game on the election and receive gifts.
