European elections 2019 "This time I vote for ...". – Lyceum Palama
At 14 In May, at the Palamas Lyceum school, the 2nd and 3rd Lyceum students were informed about the institution of the European elections, which was organized by the Region of Thessaly and the Regional Development Fund of the Region of Thessaly, as part of the Center of European Information actions - «Europe Direct» Thessaly in collaboration with high school Palama.
Students were informed about the importance and the process of European elections as well as for the operation of the European Parliament.
The member of the project team of the European Information Center of the Europe Direct Region of Thessaly Ms. Katsiakou Fotini, He raised the possibility provided by the center, to all citizens, to obtain information, advice and answers to questions about the institutions, legislation, policies and EU programs. As in other Member States, so in Greece, centers complement and support the European Commission Representation communication activities, the European Parliament Information Office (EPIO) and other institutions and EU agencies at local and regional level. Also, cooperate with other information networks and EU assistance.
Mr. Dimitrios Anagnostopoulos introduced the event, while Mr.. Metaxas Theodoros, Professor at the University of Thessaly, Department of Economic Sciences informed the students and answered their questions.
