On the occasion of the European Day Multilingualism (26 September), Center Europe Direct Information Thessaly and the Regional Thessaly Region Development Fund and the region of Thessaly in collaboration with the French Institute of Larissa – Cultural Action and Cooperation Service of the French Embassy in Greece and S.Mou.Th - Musical Theater Workshop inviting city students at the French Institute in an original language game called "You , How many languages do you speak that;;;"This is an interactive game multilingualism .Poses languages you can use to communicate with your friends in less than 10 minutes; A, two, three; The answer may be "more than 10!"The interactive game multilingualism is a laboratory method that appeals to children 10 as 12 years and aims to introduce a fun and playful way to use different languages in a short time. Children use 4 everyday phrases in more than 10 languages conversing together, in response to a context of easy rules. The results surprised both the children involved and external observers (parents, teachers etc.), after a few minutes creates a true Babel with active multilingual children. The multilingual interactive game developed by the Workshop Musical Theater group in the European project Outside In and aimed to familiarize children with the culture of other countries through the use of their language (sounds, sounds, pronunciation) in order to encourage them to seek information on these countries and reduce xenophobic feelings caused by the fear of the unknown.
Workshops aimed at elementary students and will be held Monday and Tuesday 26 – 27 September and hours 11.00 – 13.00 . Each workshop lasts 45 minutes .
