"European Day of Languages'
23 – 27 September 2019
The region of Thessaly and the Regional Development Fund of Thessaly, as part of the Center of European Information actions - «Europe Direct» Thessaly in collaboration with the Directorate of Primary Education. Magnesia and 30The Primary School of Volos, organize actions on the "European Day of Languages'.
All over Europe, million Europeans are encouraged to learn more and more foreign languages, at any age, inside or outside the school. This stems from the belief of the Council of Europe that linguistic diversity is a tool to achieve broader intercultural understanding and a key element in the rich cultural heritage of our continent.
From 23 – 25 September will be events for the "European Language Day" to mark the European Day Multilingualism at the University of Thessaly rooms, Brickworks Museum Tsalapatas and 30th Primary School of Volos, the players and crowd participation schools of Volos. Students and visitors will travel from one European country to another u will discover the fascinating world of languages.
