"The children run to the river"
Riverbed Pinios River - Bridge Naiadon Nymphs
On Sunday 22 September, the Thessaly Region and the Regional Development Fund Region of Thessaly, as part of the Center of European Information actions - «Europe Direct» and in collaboration with the Association Marathonodromon N. Larissa organize the event "Children running in the river", on the occasion of the European Mobility Week, to be held in the Riverbed of the River Pinios.
The region of Thessaly sensitive to health-related issues, soundness, the environment, sports children organizing events for their information in order to encourage and push them in that direction is to use mild forms of transportation such as cycling, walking etc..
For this reason Sunday 22 September children, in European Mobility Week, will run in the bed of the River Pinios 1000 meters, will play and learn about sports. At the end they will be given, children participating, commemorative medals.
The starting point is the bed of the River Pinios in height Naiadon Nymphs Bridge on 18:00 pm.
The action is FREE.
