Municipal Conservatory of Larissa
Finished successfully, The event held Friday 17/05/2019 at the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa on the occasion of the upcoming European elections, on "This time I vote for ...", as part of the European Information Centre actions Europe Direct Thessaly.
The event was organized for the students B & C. School of Thessaly Region, Region Thessaly Regional Development Fund and the Special Service OP Thessaly.
The event was greeted by the President of the Regional Council of Thessaly, K. Gregory Papacharalambous. The Center was represented by the head of the Europe Direct Thessaly Mr.. Vassili Hatzikamayianni , who spoke about the role and activities of the European Information Centers.
The high school students Larissa, who will vote for the first time, They informed about the importance and process of Elections, the operation of the European Parliament and to the historical events that have marked the European Union's course of the speakers of the event were the teachers of the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly principal Theodore Metaxas and Andreas Stergiou.
Moderator of the event was the journalist Mr.. Sotiris Polyzos.
At the end of the speakers answered students' questions on the European elections. The event was accompanied by music students of the Music School of Larissa.
