Successfully completed the 2 day Children's Book entitled : "On the island of Limnos to the fantasy land, fairy tales ", organized by the Thessaly Region and the Regional Development Fund of Thessaly, as part of the Center of European Information actions - «Europe Direct» Thessaly in collaboration with the French Institute of Larissa, International Film Festival of Larissa «Artfools» and the Cultural Center of Educational Law. Larissa, on the occasion of the International Children's Book Day, Wednesday and Thursday, 3 & 4 April at the French Institute building Larissa.
departments schools, with students A'thmias Education Region Thessaly, They contacted the institution of the European Union through the information held by the members of the project team of the EUROPE DIRECT Ms. Fotini Katsiakou and Ms. Giouroukos life and the world of European children's books. They met two women writers, which showed children's books and narrated interactively their children's books and fairy tales. They chatted with writers, They played with them, They discussed even on contemporary issues, on Europe's society and took gifts with coloring books and activities in digital media (cd). The children went to the land of fantasy and fairy tales traditionally enjoyed by Mrs. Evdokia Poimenidou, through her book "Tales, tale, truth", but mentally they traveled to the island of Lemnos, by Ms. Zafiria Kotzamanoglou and her book "The Cave of Philoctetes'.
