Europe Day : "Meet Europe's monuments"
French Institute of Larissa
The region of Thessaly and the Regional Development Fund of Thessaly, within the framework of the actions of the European Information Center - "Europe Direct" Region of Thessaly and in cooperation with the French Institute of Larissa, Urban non-profit organization «Artfools» and the Cultural Center of Educational Law. Larissa, as part of Europe Day and , at Thursday 16 May, in the halls of the French Institute, the action : «Meet monuments Europe», with free admission. (phone reservation : 2410287508, for student groups 10:30 am - 11:30 & 11:30 – 12:30 pm).
The event is schoolchildren of Athmias Education Region of Thessaly to come into contact with the European Union, knowing some of the historical and unique monuments of Europe.
Students will experience the sights seeing pictures and learning information about them. They will learn about the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre Museum in France, Colosseum in Italy, the Brandenburg Gate in Germany, the Parthenon in Greece etc..
Then students will travel with Asterix and Obelix in French-speaking countries of Europe (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg) to learn about their culture.
In the end all children will take with them souvenirs (passports Europe, books, brochure, Cd).
