Children's Book Workshop : "Authors & schoolchildren & animation»
The region of Thessaly and the Regional Development Fund of Thessaly, within the framework of the actions of the European Information Center - "Europe Direct", in collaboration with the Cultural Center of Teachers N. Larissa, the Larissa Film Festival "Artfools" and the 10th Primary School of Larissa, on the occasion of Children's Book Day, are organizing a Conference entitled : "Authors & schoolchildren & yearsmation», (students chat with authors, they know children's books and watch animation).
Students of Honors Education will come into contact with European children's literature, they will meet Larisa writers, they will become familiar with the world of the book, the process of literary creation the technology of image and animation so they will create images, shapes, feelings, colors, faces, heroes, etc.
It will take place in the auditorium of the 10th Primary School of Larissa, to 20 April 2016, from the 9:00am. until 12:00 a.m., for many students to participate. It will be done at the beginning, a small presentation of Europe with the 28 its member states. Subsequently, the writer Vassilis Karavidas, will talk to the students, for a book of his – children's story and after the discussion, will be displayed 2 of European short animation films, from this year's, of the 8th Larissa Film Festival – Artfools. There will be a short break and then, the author Eleni Christoula-Patelodimou, she will present a book of hers to the students, modern way, then it will be shown again 2 animation films and finally, discussion and exchange of views with the authors and the young students, who will also receive a gift when leaving, a DVD with the animation films, that they attended.
