It is a collective cooperation that focuses on exploring space and land that takes place worldwide.
The Biomimism Body of Greece Research and Innovation in collaboration with the Institute for Entrepreneurship Development and the MSc in Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Economics, organize NASA International Space Competition, Space Apps Challenge Greece 2017 from 22 until 23 April 2017 Larissa, Under the auspices of the Region of Thessaly and the support of the Municipality of Larissa Municipality of Culture and Sciences. At a press conference in the Regional Council room, the organizers noted the following:
Kostas Agorastos - Regional Governor of Thessaly: 'We support an excellent effort and a separate creative contest, giving a message of cooperation, synergy and effect. At the same time we give a way out to people dealing with sciences, the universe and the nature, Because through all of this we can create models that solve human problems. And this is the purpose of this venture and the contest, to find solutions to issues that concern everyday life and people. I would like to thank all those involved, whether they are scientists, either businessmen, either students who have ideas, but at the same time all sponsors and supporters. It is an important initiative of young children and we can only support them, As young people are the oxygen of life and carriers of new ideas, But also the "solvents" in everyday modern problems.
Cleopatra Alamandariotou - Founder of Biomimetism of Greece Research and Innovation: "This is a collective collaboration that focuses on space exploration and earth that takes place worldwide. The 2016 Participation touched them 15.000 citizens from 62 countries and 177 Cities around the world and this year is expected to participate in countries where they will work together to develop solutions to some of the biggest challenges on Earth, Using NASA's open data and tools of biomimetism of Greece. the Region of Thessaly and the Europe Direct program that support the competition with the auspices, The Department of Culture and Sciences of the Municipality of Larissa that also support us, as well as the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Thessaly. At the same time I would like to thank all the affiliates and companies that responded immediately to support this effort.

Included in the world's largest hackathon in the world in which scientist groups participate, teaching, engineer, designers, businessmen, schoolchildren, artists, people from the wide field of technology, of computers but also in parallel by all sorts of specialty. So we invite anyone interested in this challenge 48-72 hourly, which includes intensive work in original solutions, where then the 3 First winning teams of the competition will win corresponding awards and ideas will be promoted to NASA's rating system where they will be judged worldwide, where the dominant ones are evolving in the future as companies and products. “We are co -organizing this beautiful institution for our city in Larissa, that will be of great interest. This year there are five thematic areas in which participants will be able to submit their proposals and are focused on Earth, As NASA focuses and there finding solutions that will be able to help the planet in general. Themes are, the planet, the marine environment, Natural disasters, Ecology and the creative meaning that NASA wants to have. We hope to make interesting suggestions and make this competition an institution for the city »
