French Institute of Larissa
The region of Thessaly and the Regional Development Fund of Thessaly, under the actions of the European Information Center - «Europe Direct» Thessaly in collaboration with the Cultural Center of Educational Law. Larissa, the French Institute of Larissa and Larissa International Film Festival «Artfools», on the occasion of the International Children's Book Day, organizing the 2-day children's book : «From the island of Limnos to the fantasy land, fairy tales», which will be held at the French Institute, with free admission (phone reservation : 6974578900, for student groups 10:30 am. – 11:30 & 11:30 – 12:30 p.m.).
Students of the First Education of the Region of Thessaly come in contact with the world of the European children's book, visiting the library of the French Institute of Larissa, yet know and 2 women authors, which are children's books and recount tales, interactively. The children talk with writers and play with them in pictures, painting, constructions, acrostic, crosswords, quiz questions, etc.. and leaving, They take with them, sketch block, and proposed activities, on digital media (cd).
This year, the kindergarten students and small classes of primary schools have the opportunity to travel to the country of imagination and enjoy traditional tales from Evdokia Poimenidou, through the book of 'Fairy tales, tale, truth», on Wednesday, 3 April, while students major classes of primary schools Thursday, 4 April, mentally traveling to the island of Lemnos, the Zafiria Kotzamanoglou, through the book of 'The Cave of Philoctetes».
