“To open our sails”
The President of the European Commission, K. Jean-Claude Juncker, pronounced her today his State of the Union speech the 2017, before the European Parliament, Strasbourg, where he presented his priorities for the coming year and set out his vision of how the European Union could evolve by 2025. Introduce one Road Map for more United, stronger and more democratic Union.
«The wind is blowing in favor of Europe again. But we will not proceed, if we don't take advantage of this wind. (…) We should chart our course for the future. As Mark Twain wrote, a few years from now we will be more disappointed about what we didn't do, than for what we did. Now is the time to build a more united one, stronger and more democratic Europe for 2025.»

The speech of the President Mr. Juncker in the European Parliament was accompanied by the proclamation specific initiatives of the European Commission on trade, investment control, cyber security, the industry, data and democracy, in such a way that the reasons are immediately transformed into actions.

Furthermore, the President Mr. Juncker and the first Vice President, K. Timmermans, they sent today letter of intent to the President of the European Parliament and to the presidency of the Council, where the actions that the Commission intends to take are developed in detail, legislatively and with other initiatives, until the end of next year.
