Eurostat: at 0,9% annual inflation in Greece in June

at 0,9% reaching the annual harmonized inflation in Greece in June 2017, compared with 1,5% in May, according to figures published by Eurostat today. A year ago the figure was 0,2%.

In total, In the Eurozone, annual inflation in June was 1,3% from 1,4% in May and 0,1% a year ago. At European Union level, the annual inflation was 1,4% in June, compared with 1,6% in May and 0,1% a year ago.

The lowest annual inflation rates were observed in June in Ireland (-0,6%), in Denmark (0,4%) and in Romania (0,7%). The highest annual rates were recorded in Lithuania (3,5%), Estonia and Latvia (3,1% both). Compared to May 2017, annual inflation fell to 18 Member States, remained stable at three and increased to six.
